SAP BTP Full Stack Developer
About the role
As an SAP BTP Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by designing and developing cloud-native solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform, extending SAP S/4HANA while supporting a clean-core architecture.
You will be a valued member of the SAP Trulive project team, collaborating with developers, architects, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to deliver document-processing solutions using SAP Document AI, CAP, RAP, React, and TypeScript.
In this role, you will
- Design and develop full-stack applications on SAP Business Technology Platform using CAP, TypeScript, React, and SAP HANA Cloud.
- Build CDS data models, APIs, service handlers, validations, and integrations with SAP Document AI and SAP S/4HANA.
- Develop responsive user interfaces for document upload, data review, correction, approval, and status tracking.
- Create and integrate RAP-based business objects and OData V4 services, following SAP clean-core and ABAP Cloud principles.
- Configure application security, authentication, destinations, deployment, testing, monitoring, and CI/CD processes.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days per week in a Cognizant or client office and 3 days working from home.

What you need to have to be considered
- 5+ years of overall SAP development experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP.
- Hands-on experience with SAP CAP, including CDS modeling, service development, event handlers, and OData or REST APIs.
- Strong experience with TypeScript and React for full-stack application development.
- Experience integrating SAP applications and services through APIs, destinations, authentication, and authorization.
- Experience with SAP HANA Cloud and cloud-native application development.
- Understanding of SAP clean-core principles.
- Experience with RAP, ABAP Cloud, or SAP S/4HANA integrations.
- Experience using Git and working with CI/CD and application deployment processes.
These will help you stand out
- Experience implementing SAP Document AI or Document Information Extraction solutions.
- Knowledge of RAP business objects, behavior definitions, draft handling, and OData V4 services.
- Experience with XSUAA, SAP Cloud Identity Services, role collections, Cloud Connector, and MTA deployment.
- Familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio and ABAP Development Tools.
- Experience with testing tools such as Jest, Mocha, Vitest, React Testing Library, or ABAP Unit.
- Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, or SAP Build solutions.
