Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end QA delivery for assigned projects
- Set up QA processes and create testing playbooks
- Review and conduct walkthroughs of test strategy and test plans with stakeholders
- Prepare effort estimates and testing strategy for new enhancements
- Identify and support onboarding of required hardware and software for testing
- Coordinate with offshore testers and provide guidance on deliverables
- Design and execute test cases
- Own defect management activities and conduct defect triage
- Review testing artifacts including test scenarios, test cases, defects, and execution logs
- Review root cause analysis for defects
- Follow up on testing and infrastructure-related issues
- Drive and facilitate testing-related meetings including status reviews and walkthroughs
- Prepare and share testing status reports
Qualifications and Skills:
- 8–12 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Proven experience working as a Test Lead
- Experience in OpenText testing
- Experience in API and integration testing
- Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and JIRA
- Exposure to test automation
- Strong knowledge of test planning, execution, and defect management
- Experience coordinating with offshore testing teams
- Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in English and Cantonese
