Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Amazon RDS Amazon Redshift Big Data AWS EC2 AWS EMR Amazon S3 Apache Spark and Python. A background in regulatory and process control within governance and compliance is a plus. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a day shift environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable data solutions using Amazon RDS Amazon Redshift and Big Data technologies to enhance data processing capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AWS EC2 and AWS EMR solutions that meet business requirements.
- Utilize Amazon S3 for efficient data storage and retrieval ensuring data integrity and security.
- Implement Apache Spark for real-time data processing and analytics driving insights and decision-making.
- Write and optimize Python scripts to automate data workflows and improve system performance.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve processes and solutions.
- Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers promoting best practices and code quality.
- Document technical specifications and project progress to ensure transparency and alignment with stakeholders.
- Participate in agile development processes contributing to sprint planning and retrospective meetings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and governance policies in all development activities.
- Contribute to the companys mission by delivering impactful solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Amazon RDS Amazon Redshift and Big Data technologies.
- Proficiency in AWS EC2 AWS EMR and Amazon S3 for cloud-based solutions.
- Strong experience with Apache Spark for data processing and analytics.
- Advanced skills in Python programming for automation and optimization.
- Familiarity with regulatory and process control in governance and compliance is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model and collaborate with remote teams.
