- Primary mandate skill required – Palo Alto firewall & Global Protect VPN
- Secondary mandate skill required – Prisma Cloud / Zscaler Web Security & Network Security skills.
Job Description :
- Knowledge and experience installing and supporting Palo Alto Security Appliances (minimum 5 years)
- Experience of installing and configuring PA firewalls.
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer 7-8 (PCNSE7-8) certification preferred.
- Knowledge of protocols BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SPT, TRUNKS, VLANs, Port-Channel, Static routing.
- Networking topologies and protocols. Examples being MPLS, VRF, SIP, Traffic Shaping / QoS o Palo Alto Command line.
- Must have a good networking background and understanding.
- A high level of Palo Alto expertise in design, configuration, migrations, tuning and customisation of features.
- Thorough knowledge of Panorama, WildFire, Global Protect, and other Palo Alto features including and not limited to SSL decryption.
- Familiarity with Data Centre environment and hosted deployments/cloud
- Experience of supporting clients remotely and face to face, along with experience of working with providers.
- Experience with Wireshark or other protocol analysers.
- Manage and maintain Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), ensuring efficient implementation of security policies and traffic monitoring.
- Optimize Zscaler configurations to enhance performance and meet organizational security goals
- Certification preferences – Zscaler EDU 200 / E 202
- Excellent communication skills & must be flexible to work outside of business hours as per business requirements.
