About the role
As a Manager- Pricing, you will drive impactful contributions and focus on outcomes. You will be a key member of the [IOA central Pricing team] team, Collaborating with Sales, Delivery & Presales and other teams as needed for the deal. The ideal candidate must be a self-driven person and flair to learn technology and keen to work in strategic and complex business environment. Should be passionate about said subject and ambitious to develop an exciting career in Finance. In this role, you will:
- Member of highly efficient pricing team
- Good understanding of various pricing models like Fixed Price, T&M, and transaction based, Outcome based pricing.
- Designing commercial models based on Customer requirements using various financial modeling techniques.
- Analyzing commercial models to assess commercial and operational risks and perform what-if analysis of the possible scenarios.
- Fair understanding of the various commercial terms & conditions, and ensure they are appropriately covered.
- Collaborating with Sales, Delivery & Presales and other teams as needed for the deal
- Should be able to run the deal financials with multiple teams

What you must have to be considered
- Should be a qualified CA/ICWA/MBA (Finance) with good academic background
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and logical abilities
- Must be a go getter person and good team member.
- Expert level proficiency in excel
- A strong sense of ownership, desire to create meaningful outcomes, and passion for work that serves a greater good for customers, communities, or global challenges.

These will help you succeed
- Provide robust financial modelling and what-if scenario analyses to evaluate deal profitability, identify commercial and operational risks, and support data-driven decision
- Ensure all pricing proposals cover key commercial terms and conditions and comply with internal policies, minimizing contractual risks and ensuring pricing governance compliance.
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Delivery, Pre‑Sales, and Finance teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality pricing proposals, contributing to successful deal closures and profitable outcomes.
Work model
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2/3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Hyderabad/Bangalore/ Telangana/ Karnataka.
