Lead QA
Responsibilities
Test Planning & Strategy
Develop and document comprehensive test plans and strategies for software releases outlining scope objectives and execution timelines.
Define and standardize quality assurance processes including test case formats bug reporting workflows and testing methodologies.
Team Leadership & Coordination
Distribute and manage testing assignments for the QA team aligning tasks with individual strengths and project priorities.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to QA team members fostering skill development and improving testing proficiency.
Motivate the team resolve conflicts and create a challenging and motivating environment.
Test Execution & Management
Oversee the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and strategies to increase efficiency and test coverage.
Ensure all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning execution and issue tracking.
Review test plans and test cases to ensure they cover all necessary scenarios including unit functional performance stress and acceptance testing.
Test Automation
Architect design and implement robust test automation frameworks (UI API performance and regression) using tools such as Selenium Cypress Playwright or similar.
Maintain and enhance automation scripts to ensure high coverage and reliability across releases.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps Jenkins GitHub Actions) for continuous quality validation
