Security Solution Architect
The security Solutions Architect at Cognizant is responsible for providing pre-sales support in the development of solutions incorporating Data security services and offerings. The Solutions Architect will work in conjunction with Sales and Account Executives to architect, design, propose, and help close opportunities with both existing and new clients. The Solutions Architect will provide support and leadership in Data Security design and architecture as well as provide insight on product updates and roadmap planning to Cognizant clients. The Solutions Architect will also be responsible for making formal solution presentations through the creation of architecture proposals inclusive of equipment and professional implementation services.
Job Description
- Engages with the client, identifies Data security needs/requirements, engages with SMEs and bid team to work on Data security proposal and collect HL designs, pricing and validate security solution to be proposed
- Works with engineers and SMEs in the development of the technical solution or offering, in translating the business needs into technical requirements, and is a key contributor in the value proposition.
- Supports Bid & Proposal solution development including technical design and development of complex proposals for Data Security solutions (managed services, System Integration and Consulting)
- Expertise in full lifecycle – from consultancy, to architectural definition, to solution implementation – our Security roles are diverse which presents great opportunities and challenges.
- Creating high quality documentation such as Presentations, proposal responses, Architecture /designs etc.
- Evaluates and recommends future technologies and methodologies that will enhance our Data security services and offerings.
Job Requirements
Full lifecycle project experience as Security Consultant including design and implementation of Data Security Solutions like Data Encryption, Tokenization, Data Masking/Obfuscation, PKI, DLP & DRM.
Full lifecycle proposal /bid experience covering the Data security technologies both on premise data center and cloud solutions.
Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST
Knowledge of global data protection and privacy laws.
Preferred Certifications: Product certifications like CCIE, CCSE etc. and domain certifications like CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC
