Job Summary
As a Lead Quality Engineer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our software products. With a focus on test automation and leveraging your expertise in Java Spring Boot and Selenium you will drive the testing strategy and execution. Collaborating with cross-functional teams you will ensure seamless integration and delivery of robust solutions in a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Oversee the design and execution of automated test scripts using Java Spring Boot and Selenium.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the software development lifecycle.
- Utilize Cucumber and RestAssured to enhance test automation frameworks and ensure effective testing of APIs.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software release process.
- Work closely with Azure DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of applications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct thorough reviews of test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage and adherence to best practices.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Coordinate with product managers and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure alignment with testing objectives.
- Drive initiatives to improve testing processes and tools enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations particularly in the Finance & Accounting domain.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in test automation and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong background in test automation with hands-on experience in Java Spring Boot and Selenium.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using Cucumber and RestAssured for API testing.
- Have experience with Azure and integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of Finance & Accounting domain processes is a plus.
- Show excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Display strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
- Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
