Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a Senior Associate – L2 Technical Support Engineer with 5-8+ years of experience supporting and maintaining high-performing, scalable enterprise applications. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic digital engineering team working on business-critical applications that support global clients.

As a Senior Associate, you will contribute to the stability, reliability, and performance of applications by providing L2 support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolution in line with established processes and SLAs. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to address incidents, implement fixes, and support ongoing enhancements.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of assigned tasks, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and actively contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. You will also help maintain documentation, support knowledge sharing, and may guide junior team members when needed.

Location: Toronto, Ontario (Remote)

Roles/Responsibilities:

· Provide L2 support for cloud-based financial COTS SaaS applications such as Navan (Travel Management), Zip, Vertex, Lease Accelerator, etc.

· Participate in knowledge transfer (KT) sessions provided by the customer and apply learnings to support newly onboarded applications

· Perform application issue analysis and resolution within defined SLAs, escalating complex issues when necessary

· Handle service requests including application configuration changes and updates based on business requirements

· Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Integration team) and external product vendors to support issue resolution

· Assist in coordinating day-to-day activities with stakeholders and contribute to smooth service delivery

· Support customer communication by providing updates on incidents, requests, and progress under guidance

· Maintain and update tickets in tools such as JIRA, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of issues and resolutions

· Contribute to process improvements and support automation initiatives where applicable

· Work closely with onshore/offshore teams and support alignment with existing Boundary Applications team

Required Qualifications:

· 5-8 years of experience in L2 support, preferably for cloud-based SaaS applications with a financial domain background

· Working knowledge of financial applications and modules such as procurement, sales, accounting, AP/AR, or cash management

· Basic exposure to AI and automation tools is desirable

· Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams

· Familiarity with ticketing tools such as JIRA or similar systems for incident and request tracking

· Nice to have: Foundational understanding of Oracle ERP functional modules and concepts

· General technical awareness (e.g., .NET or similar technologies), though no specific programming expertise is required

· Ability to manage assigned tasks independently and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until June 18, 2026.

The base salary for this position ranges from $54,000– $80,000 CAD per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

This role is also eligible for:

  • Discretionary annual performance-based bonus
