Job summary
This hybrid Sr Business Analyst role requires 6 to 9 years of experience in business analysis troubleshooting testing and data driven decision support using MongoDB and SQL. The role focuses on translating business needs into clear solution requirements enabling scalable digital products that improve customer experiences and operational efficiency while supporting sustainable business growth.
5 to 7 years of experience in Capital Markets, supporting equity derivatives trading desks across the front-to-back spectrum or equivalent relevant experience with deep exposure to Market Risk or Credit Risk.
Comprehensive knowledge of Equity derivatives product offerings and their associated risk profiles.
Proven ability to collaborate with partners across Technology, Front Office, and other stakeholders, applying a deep understanding of business and technical requirements to identify and exploit synergies across various domains.
5 to 7 years of experience working alongside quantitative development teams to integrate new features or products using modelling and pricing libraries.
Strong understanding of Software Engineering principles and Software Development practices, with an emphasis on Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and the software development lifecycle.
Proficiency in executing queries, constructing use-case scenarios for business requirements, and implementing minor enhancements.
Solid knowledge of Python, relational databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server), non-relational databases (MongoDB), REST APIs, GraphQL, and various data formats including JSON and XML.
Soft Skills
Strong interpersonal abilities to clearly explain and present concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Expertise in developing and maintaining robust processes aimed at preventing issues, diagnosing problems, and ensuring timely incident resolution while applying appropriate quality controls.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, relationship management, and soft skills to effectively influence stakeholders to drive consensus on requirements and solution proposals.
Strong financial acumen with the ability to perform complex analyses and produce detailed reports.
