Responsibilities : -Design and implement robust product configuration solutions using PL SQL Core Java and Calypso to support complex financial products and ensure consistent system behavior across environments -Configure and maintain product attributes workflows and pricing rules within Calypso to ensure accurate representation of business requirements and regulatory constraints for financial instruments -Develop and optimize database procedures functions and queries in PL SQL to improve configuration performance data integrity and operational reliability for large scale transaction systems -Build modular reusable components in Core Java that integrate with configuration engines and upstream systems to support flexible product lifecycle changes and new feature onboarding -Collaborate with business analysts architects and quality engineers to translate card and payment requirements into precise configuration specifications and technical implementation plans -Conduct detailed impact analysis for configuration changes to identify dependencies risks and mitigation steps ensuring that new releases do not disrupt critical payment processing services -Perform configuration reviews code walkthroughs and peer validations to ensure adherence to internal quality standards security practices and industry compliance expectations -Create and maintain detailed configuration documentation including design decisions parameter mappings and operational runbooks that support transparent audits and efficient knowledge transfer -Execute functional system integration and regression tests focused on configuration scenarios to validate correctness stability and performance before deployment to production environments -Investigate and resolve configuration related incidents by analyzing logs database traces and transaction flows to restore service promptly and prevent future recurrences -Engage in continuous improvement initiatives by proposing enhancements to configuration frameworks automation utilities and monitoring dashboards that reduce manual effort and operational risk -Partner with stakeholders to prioritize configuration backlogs and ensure that changes deliver measurable business value such as faster time to market improved user experience and reduced defects in production -Support cross functional teams during release cycles by coordinating configuration deployments in hybrid work settings ensuring alignment across time zones while maintaining a strong focus on day shift coverage -Qualifications -Combine six to nine years of professional experience in product configuration or similar roles with strong hands on exposure to PL SQL and Core Java in enterprise financial environments -Apply practical experience in Calypso configuration including trade workflows risk parameters and reference data management to support complex financial product setups -Demonstrate working knowledge of cards and payments domain concepts such as authorization settlement dispute handling and compliance guidelines to better align configuration with industry practices -Utilize strong analytical and problem solving skills to diagnose configuration issues interpret technical logs and propose data driven solutions that enhance stability and user satisfaction -Communicate effectively with technical and non technical partners by explaining configuration options trade offs and impacts in clear accessible language that supports collaborative decision making -Adapt to hybrid work arrangements by managing tasks independently coordinating virtually with distributed teams and maintaining accountability for deliverables during standard day shifts -Exhibit commitment to quality security and ethical standards by following organizational policies audit requirements and best practices that protect customer data and reinforce trust in financial systems 9.
