Job Summary

Contribute as a software engineer in a hybrid work model building secure and resilient microservices and web applications using Java and Python technologies to support complex billing and revenue management solutions ensuring high performance data integrity and compliance while collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver scalable cloud native platforms for global customers.


Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high quality backend services using Java versions eight eleven and seventeen along with Spring Framework and Spring Boot to deliver robust billing and revenue management capabilities for enterprise clients.
  • Implement and optimize microservices architectures that support complex rating invoicing and payment workflows ensuring scalability fault tolerance and observability across distributed environments.
  • Develop and maintain data access layers using PostgreSQL Oracle and Mongo DB focusing on efficient schema design indexing strategies and query tuning to support large volumes of transaction and revenue data.
  • Create secure and maintainable REST based integration flows that connect billing platforms with external customer systems while ensuring data consistency and adherence to enterprise security standards.
  • Write comprehensive automated unit tests using JUnit five and related testing tools to achieve strong code coverage reduce regression risk and support continuous integration pipelines.
  • Build and enhance user facing components with jQuery and related web technologies to provide intuitive and responsive interfaces for billing inquiries adjustments and revenue reporting features.
  • Use Python and Python three for data transformation scripting and automation tasks that streamline recurring billing operations reconciliation processes and platform health checks.
  • Manage source code and collaboration workflows using GIT following branching strategies code review practices and pull request validation to maintain code quality and team productivity.
  • Deploy and operate applications on AWS services using cloud native patterns and configuration management to achieve reliability cost efficiency and secure access to sensitive billing information.
  • Collaborate with product owners business analysts and domain experts in billing and revenue management to refine requirements validate edge cases and align technical solutions with business outcomes.
  • Analyze production incidents and performance bottlenecks across application and database layers performing root cause analysis and implementing durable fixes that improve customer experience.
  • Document system designs API contracts data models and operational runbooks in clear and accessible formats to support maintainability onboarding and audit readiness.
  • Engage in hybrid work practices by coordinating effectively across onsite and remote team members ensuring timely communication status updates and shared understanding of delivery priorities.


Qualifications

  • Possess four to six years of hands on software engineering experience delivering production grade applications using Java Spring Boot and microservices patterns in complex enterprise settings.
  • Apply strong expertise in billing and revenue management domains including rating charging discounting and invoicing flows to design solutions that are compliant accurate and audit ready.
  • Demonstrate advanced skills in relational and non relational databases including PostgreSQL Oracle Mongo DB and SQL with a focus on modeling financial transactions and ensuring data integrity.
  • Exhibit proficiency in AWS based application deployment monitoring and configuration while following secure development practices appropriate for financial and revenue data.
  • Show practical experience with Python JUnit five jQuery and GIT as core tools in modern engineering workflows including testing automation scripting and collaborative development.
  • Communicate clearly with cross functional stakeholders and work effectively in a hybrid day shift model supporting agile delivery ceremonies backlog refinement and continuous improvement initiatives.
