About the role
As an Associate Director, Technical Full Stack Educator, you will make an impact by leading the Full Stack Educator Center of Excellence and shaping the direction, standards and scalability of technical learning across the enterprise. You will be a valued member of the Corporate Learning & Development team and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders, product leadership and the in-house Full Stack Educator ecosystem.
In this role, you will
- Own and evolve the Full Stack Educator Center of Excellence for a specific business unit or technology stack by defining educator role frameworks, competency models, learning standards and quality benchmarks across programs
- Shape long-term technical skilling roadmaps aligned to business priorities, translating enterprise needs into scalable learning architectures and delivering technical training to make associates future-ready
- Deliver targeted technical skilling programs across Cognizant and client teams
- Define and promote AI-first learning principles across the organization, active practitioner of responsible AI adoption and delivering scalable solutions for technical content creation, training facilitation, assessment and analytics at scale
- Enable and govern educator capability by coaching Senior Full Stack Educators, sponsoring development paths and building internal pipelines for next-generation educators
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on skilling effectiveness, risks and ROI representing technical skilling in leadership forums, audits and ecosystem discussions
Work model

Based on this role's business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring five days a week in a Cognizant office in Chennai, Siruseri, Tamil Nadu.

What you need to have to be considered
- 17+ years of experience in technical education, engineering enablement or large-scale learning and development roles
- Hands-on technical depth at multiple programming languages / technology stacks (like Java, .NET, C#, Python, Mainframe) across software development layers, modern architectures and AI assisted development
- Demonstrated success in scaling high-quality technical skilling programs with enterprise-level learning architecture capability
- Proven leadership in educator enablement, governance and transformation with strong executive presence
- Coaching and mentoring mindset at leadership scale; credibility with senior stakeholders and the ability to drive decisions through data and industry best practice
- Willingness to travel across Cognizant locations based on training needs
