About the role
We're looking for a Senior Data Migration Test Manager to own quality across one of the most complex data migration programmes in the financial sector. You will define the end-to-end testing strategy for a large-scale Teradata-to-Snowflake migration, build and execute test plans, drive automation, and act as the quality gate for ETL pipelines, data reconciliation, and cutover readiness. Your rigour will define the programme's success.

What you'll bring
- Extensive ETL and data warehouse testing experience on large-scale migration programmes
- Strong SQL skills across both Snowflake and Teradata environments
- Hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC (preferred) or PowerCenter
- Deep expertise in data migration testing: schema mapping, datatype conversions, SCD handling, and star schema (fact/dimension) validation
- Full test lifecycle ownership: SIT, Integration, UAT, parallel run, and cutover
- Experience with Snowflake on Azure
- Defect management and reporting using JIRA and/or HP ALM
- Scripting skills in Python or Shell/PowerShell for test automation — a plus
- CI/CD and DevOps exposure applied to data pipeline testing — a plus
- BFSI domain experience — a plus
- Fluent English and professional working proficiency in Spanish (B2 or above) — required for client-facing meetings, calls, and workshops
What you'll do
- Define the overall test strategy, scope, and coverage framework for the Teradata-to-Snowflake migration
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases for ETL pipelines and data validation
- Perform source-to-target reconciliation; validate transformations, mappings, business rules, and referential integrity
- Test full and incremental data loads, error handling, regression scenarios, and performance benchmarks
- Lead parallel run and cutover readiness testing activities
- Track and report defects and quality metrics using JIRA and/or HP ALM
- Drive test automation for repeatable validation checks and support CI/CD integration of ETL tests
- Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and business stakeholders throughout the test lifecycle
- Mentor and guide junior testers within the team
- Report quality metrics and testing progress to programme leadership
