Job Summary
We are seeking highly skilled and visionary OT (Operational Technology) Solutions Architects and Consultants to lead and conduct design and implementation of cutting-edge Smart Grid and utility automation solutions. These roles demand a deep understanding of OT systems, grid modernization technologies, and enterprise integration strategies. The ideal candidates will possess hands-on experience with GE GridOS software, GE ADMS / Scada Series 6, Scada PowerOn and GridOS Connect & Fabric and will be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions that support our clients’ digital transformation initiatives in the energy and utilities sector.
The candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical architectures, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory frameworks. Your work will directly impact the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of critical infrastructure systems.
Key Responsibilities Solution Architects / Lead Engineers / Scada Migration Consultants
The responsibilities will span the full stack of Grid Modernization programs:
- Design and deliver comprehensive OT architecture solutions tailored to Smart Grid environments and utility operations.
- Conduct/lead integration and deployment of GE GridOS software, GE ADMS / Scada Series 6 & Power On, GridOS Connect & Fabric platforms across diverse client landscapes.
- Develop and implement reference architectures and solution blueprints that support distributed energy resources (DER), grid automation, and real-time monitoring.
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure data flows between OT and IT domains.
- Conduct technical assessments, gap analyses, and feasibility studies to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle—from concept and design to implementation and support.
- Engage with vendors, partners, and clients to evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to existing systems.
- Implement new gird-solutions based on the GE Smart Grid software
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IEC 61850, NERC CIP, and ISO 27001.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in OT architecture, Smart Grid technologies, and utility automation.
- Strong expertise in GE GridOS software, GE ADMS / Scada Series 6 & PowerOn or GridOS Connect & Fabric.
- In-depth knowledge of SCADA systems, substation automation, and real-time data acquisition.
- Familiarity with network protocols (DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850) and industrial communication standards.
- Ability to design secure and resilient architectures that bridge OT and IT environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms, edge computing, and IoT integration is a plus.
Additional Skills
- Experience working with Smart Grid analytics, predictive maintenance, and AI-driven optimization.
- Knowledge of digital twin technologies and simulation tools for grid operations.
- Certification in TOGAF, CISSP, or similar frameworks.
- Prior involvement in large-scale utility transformation programs or grid modernization projects.
