Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Leader to drive data-driven decision-making and build scalable analytics solutions. This role will focus on designing and managing enterprise BI platforms, delivering impactful dashboards, and enabling self-service analytics across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage enterprise Business Intelligence frameworks that support 200+ stakeholders across multiple business functions
- Design and develop scalable SQL-based data pipelines for analytics, reporting, and forecasting
- Create and maintain production dashboards for real-time monitoring, business performance tracking, and executive reporting
- Develop automated reporting solutions to identify risks, trends, and opportunities in business operations
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data Science, Business) to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance and model accuracy
- Support machine learning initiatives by creating data visibility and evaluation frameworks
- Manage BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) including user access, performance optimization, governance, and security compliance
- Drive adoption of self-service analytics by enabling business users with intuitive dashboards and data tools
- Deliver executive-level presentations with insights, variance analysis, and strategic recommendations
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and adherence to data governance standards
Required Skills
- Strong experience in SQL, Python, and data modeling
- Expertise in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
- Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and large-scale data systems
- Experience working with machine learning models and performance tracking
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cloud analytics and modern data platforms
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies or automation solutions
- Prior experience supporting enterprise-scale analytics environments
- Ability to lead projects and influence business decisions through data storytelling

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $150-160Kdepending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
