Job Summary
A Functional testing associate is responsible for validating software applications to ensure they meet business requirements and function as expected.
Responsibilities
Test Strategy and Leadership
Define and own the overall test strategy for firmware and WiFi features
Lead and mentor a team of embedded and test engineers providing technical guidance and review.
Collaborate with firmware hardware cloud mobile app and product teams to ensure quality at every stage of development.
Drive test planning estimation risk analysis and defect triage for multiple product releases.
Firmware Testing
Plan and execute functional integration regression and system testing
Validate WiFi device Models such as WiFi 5 6 and 7
Network Switch Testing and Configurations
WiFi Feature validations such as RADIUS Sizing of GREs Auth sessions AAA Load QoS catalog DC mapping Failovers SCPS Adaptation
Automation and Tooling
Drive test automation using Python scripting frameworks and CI pipelines.
Experience with WIFI Testing Chambers
Use and guide the team on debugging tools Analyzers Wireshark.
Define and track quality metrics defect leakage pass rate stability KPIs
