About the role
As a Salesforce & Process Optimization Consulting Principal (AD level), you will drive end-to-end Salesforce-enabled transformation initiatives, delivering scalable solutions that optimize operations and enhance customer, patient, and employee experiences. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders across business and IT to modernize workflows and deliver measurable business outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- Lead Salesforce transformation engagements, including discovery, solution design, and delivery across multi-cloud implementations
- Drive enterprise process optimization by assessing current-state workflows and designing future-state solutions using Lean and automation frameworks
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions, including user stories, process maps, and solution architectures
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Service, Operations, IT, and Compliance) to ensure scalable adoption and alignment with business objectives
- Lead stakeholder engagement through workshops, executive presentations, and change management initiatives to ensure successful implementation

What you must have to be considered
- 10+ years of Salesforce experience, including configuration, solution design, and multi-cloud implementations
- Strong process consulting experience with expertise in workflow analysis, process mapping, and operational transformation
- Proven ability to lead discovery sessions, facilitate workshops, and influence executive stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce clouds such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Revenue Cloud
- Excellent client-facing communication and executive presentation skills
These will help you succeed
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Consultant-level)
- Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, technology, or financial services
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies
- Experience in change management, user adoption, and operating model design
- Ability to establish governance frameworks for data quality, security, and platform scalability

Compensation
$165,000–$194,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
