Job Summary
This hybrid role is for a senior developer with six to eight years of experience specializing in Pega platform engineering and application development in Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM). The position focuses on complex Pega upgrades frameworks data and integration and case management to deliver resilient and scalable solutions. Exposure to check processing domain flows is beneficial. The role operates in a day shift with no travel expectations.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high performing Pega applications that align with enterprise architecture guidelines and support scalable digital workflows for business stakeholders in a hybrid work environment
- Execute end to end Pega upgrade activities including impact analysis configuration refactoring regression support and post upgrade optimization to maintain platform stability and longevity
- Configure and extend Pega frameworks to address complex business rules ensuring reuse consistency and maintainability across multiple applications in the portfolio
- Develop robust Pega case management solutions that orchestrate work allocation service level management and exception handling to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Build and optimize Pega data and integration components to connect with enterprise systems using secure and efficient patterns that ensure reliability and data quality
- Create detailed technical designs for Pega features including class structures data models flows and UI behavior to provide clear guidance for future enhancements and maintenance
- Conduct code reviews and solution walkthroughs to ensure adherence to Pega guardrails internal quality standards and regulatory expectations while minimizing technical debt
- Collaborate closely with business analysts testers and infrastructure teams to refine requirements clarify edge cases and deliver incremental value through iterative releases in day shift operations
- Troubleshoot complex production and lower environment issues by performing root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes that reduce incidents and improve platform resilience
- Optimize application performance by tuning rules data access and caching strategies to achieve responsive user experiences and efficient resource utilization
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for Pega components including upgrade runbooks configuration baselines and integration contracts to support knowledge continuity
- Guide peers on Pega best practices by sharing practical patterns for case design integration and testing which helps elevate overall team capability and delivery quality
- Align Pega solutions with organizational objectives by translating business outcomes into modular features that contribute to improved operational accuracy and faster processing cycles for clients and society
Qualifications
- Exhibit professional experience between six and eight years in Pega application development with a consistent focus on delivering robust enterprise grade solutions
- Demonstrate strong hands on expertise with Pega platform capabilities including case types flows data transforms activities decision rules and user interface rules
- Show proven experience leading Pega upgrade initiatives including version assessment rule remediation regression support and performance validation in complex environments
- Apply solid knowledge of Pega frameworks and integration patterns to design modular components that support reuse and reduce implementation time across programs
- Display practical experience in Pega data and integration configuration including connectors services and data pages to enable reliable communication with upstream and downstream systems
- Possess working experience in Pega case management configurations such as stages processes service level rules and routing logic to streamline digital work queues
- Bring familiarity with check processing or related payment operations to interpret domain specific requirements and translate them into accurate Pega implementations when applicable
- Demonstrate proficiency in hybrid collaboration tools and practices that support effective communication documentation and coordination during day shift operations
- Maintain a disciplined approach to unit testing defect resolution and peer review so that each deployment enhances platform stability and user confidence across the organization
- Exhibit strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills that enable efficient handling of production incidents incident prevention and continuous improvement initiatives
