Job Summary
The Network Security Architect acts as the SME for all Zscaler services focusing on zero-trust design especially Zscaler Private Access. Responsibilities include designing implementing and maintaining secure network architectures with strong access controls and integration with enterprise systems. The architect works with IT and security teams to set requirements resolve incidents lead root cause analysis and recommend preventive actions.
Responsibilities
The Network Security Architect will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all Zscaler services with a special emphasis on zero-trust design and architectures particularly Zscaler Private Access. This role is responsible for designing implementing and maintaining secure network architectures that align with zero-trust principles ensuring robust access controls and seamless integration with enterprise systems. The architect will collaborate closely with IT and security teams to define security requirements resolve complex incidents and lead root cause analysis while also recommending and implementing preventive measures.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the architectural design and deployment of zero-trust network access solutions using Zscaler Private Access and other Zscaler services. Act as the Zscaler SME for all services providing expert guidance on policies configurations PAC files application profiles and forwarding profiles. Oversee the creation updating and optimisation of PAC (Proxy Auto-Configuration) files for efficient and secure internet traffic routing. Develop and manage application and forwarding profiles to support secure business application connectivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve security incidents perform root cause analysis and implement best practice preventive measures. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Zscaler and network security technologies advising on and implementing industry best practices. Document architectural decisions policies and procedures and ensure effective communication with multicultural teams. Key Skills and Qualifications: Extensive experience in designing and managing Zscaler solutions especially in large enterprise environments. Deep understanding of zero-trust security architecture Zscaler Private Access and related technologies. Strong background in network security concepts protocols and troubleshooting methodologies. Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and global team environment. Relevant certifications (e.g. Zscaler Certified Professional CCNP Security) are highly desirable.
