Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager – Data & Analytics to lead the successful delivery of complex, data-driven initiatives. This role combines strong project management expertise with a solid understanding of modern data platforms and cloud technologies (preferably AWS).

You will drive end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, budget, and quality standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams across technology and business functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects focused on data and analytics solutions
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in partnership with stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time by proactively managing risks, dependencies, and issues
  • Apply Agile (Scrum) or Waterfall methodologies based on project needs
  • Oversee delivery of data initiatives such as:
    • Data warehousing and data lakes
    • ETL/ELT pipelines
    • BI and reporting platforms
    • Advanced analytics solutions
  • Provide regular project updates, risks, and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and data security standards
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery frameworks, tools, and best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in IT project management
  • Proven track record delivering data and analytics projects
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and analytics workflows
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
  • Proficiency in Jira, Microsoft Project, or Azure DevOps
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global delivery environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, EMR)
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau
  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, SAFe
  • Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD
  • Experience leading data transformation or cloud migration programs

Compensation (New Jersey Posting Requirement)

The annual salary for this position is expected to be between $115,000 and $145,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
This role is also eligible for performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
