About the role
As a QA Automation Engineer – BFS (API & Selenium), you will make an impact by driving high-quality software delivery through robust test automation and API validation. You will be a valued member of the QA and Testing team and work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Java
Perform end-to-end API testing to validate system integrations and data flows
Plan, execute, and track test cycles to ensure software quality and timely delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution
Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes within an Agile environment

What you need to have to be considered
8+ years of strong hands-on experience in Selenium automation using Java
Proven experience in API testing (REST/SOAP services)
Solid understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies
Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments
Knowledge of Banking and Financial Services (BFS) domain
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Experience using test management tools such as Rally (or similar tools)
These will help you stand out
Experience in integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to test frameworks and automation best practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactive mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
