Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled SAP FICO Consultant to support and enhance financial processes within the SAP environment. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver efficient financial solutions aligned with organizational goals. The position follows a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP FICO modules (Financial Accounting and Controlling)
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
- Support core FI processes: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (AA)
- Support CO processes: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing
- Perform system testing, UAT support, and production deployments
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, ABAP, etc.)
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in SAP FICO configuration and support
- Strong knowledge of:
- General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting
- Cost Center Accounting and Profitability Analysis
- Experience in configuration and testing
- Understanding of integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD)
- Intermediate English (business and technical communication)
Preferred
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance
- Knowledge of localization for Mexico (taxes, electronic invoicing CFDI)
- Experience with SAP Fiori apps
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging (nice to have)
