Job Summary

Contribute as a systems engineer with two to five years of experience by maintaining stable Windows environments reliable networks and responsive desktop support in a work from office model. Deliver prompt incident resolution proactive system improvements and clear communication that help teams operate efficiently and support the company mission to provide secure and high performing digital services. This is for Field services support roles.


Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive monitoring and maintenance for Windows based endpoints and servers to ensure stable performance and minimal unplanned downtime for business users.
  • Deliver responsive desktop support for office based personnel by diagnosing software and hardware issues and restoring normal service within agreed timelines.
  • Coordinate with networking colleagues to troubleshoot connectivity incidents so that office staff experience reliable access to core applications and shared resources.
  • Document incident details root causes and resolution steps in the service management system to support trend analysis and continuous improvement of operations.
  • Configure Windows user profiles security settings and local policies to align with organization standards and reduce operational risk to sensitive information.
  • Perform software installation configuration and upgrade tasks on desktop systems while validating compatibility with existing tools and workflows.
  • Collaborate with information security teams to apply patches and antivirus updates on Windows systems so that vulnerabilities are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Guide end users through issue resolution steps in a clear and empathetic manner that builds trust and encourages efficient use of technology resources.
  • Analyze recurring incidents across Windows and networking components to recommend practical enhancements that improve stability and user experience.
  • Maintain accurate asset and configuration records for desktops peripherals and network connected devices to support audits and lifecycle planning.
  • Coordinate with vendors or internal teams for hardware repair or replacement so that impacted personnel can resume work with minimal delay.
  • Adhere to day shift schedules and service level expectations while managing multiple support requests in a structured and prioritized way.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing by updating troubleshooting guides and standard operating procedures to help colleagues resolve issues faster.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate solid hands on experience administering and supporting Windows operating systems including configuration updates and common troubleshooting scenarios.
  • Apply practical networking knowledge such as basic routing switching addressing and name resolution to diagnose office connectivity problems effectively.
  • Utilize prior desktop support experience in an office environment to handle incident queues request fulfillment and customer communication with professionalism.
  • Exhibit strong problem solving skills and attention to detail when analyzing system logs error messages and user reports to identify accurate root causes.
  • Communicate clearly in spoken and written form with technical and nontechnical stakeholders so that issue status and next steps are always well understood.
  • Adapt quickly to new enterprise tools or management platforms related to Windows networking remote assistance and service management.
  • Apply fundamental security awareness around account hygiene endpoint protection and patching practices in day to day operations.


Certifications Required

Preferred certifications include CompTIA A plus CompTIA Network plus or Microsoft Certified Azure or modern desktop related credentials.
