Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic consulting engagements for Transportation and Logistics clients to define transformation roadmaps that improve service reliability asset utilization and overall operational excellence
  • Drive analysis of end to end transportation networks including freight last mile and intermodal flows to identify cost optimization service improvement and risk mitigation opportunities
  • Oversee the design of data driven operating models for logistics planning transportation management and warehouse collaboration to ensure scalable and resilient operations
  • Guide clients in adopting digital solutions such as transportation management platforms and advanced analytics so that planning routing and execution decisions become more accurate and timely
  • Collaborate with cross functional client stakeholders in operations finance procurement and technology to align initiatives to strategic objectives and secure sponsorship for change
  • Provide structured frameworks and methodologies to assess current transportation performance benchmark against industry peers and prioritize initiatives with the highest value and feasibility
  • Develop clear business cases that quantify financial impact customer service improvement and sustainability benefits to support client investment decisions and portfolio governance
  • Mentor consulting teams in delivery excellence by setting expectations reviewing work products and coaching on Transportation and Logistics domain nuances to ensure high quality outcomes
  • Coordinate hybrid work practices across on site and remote settings to maintain strong client engagement transparent communication and predictable project delivery without frequent travel
  • Shape thought leadership materials including point of view documents case studies and market insights on Transportation and Logistics trends to strengthen the firms brand and market relevance
  • Engage in opportunity shaping activities with account teams to understand client challenges craft consulting propositions and support proposal development for large and complex deals
  • Ensure robust risk and issue management across all consulting engagements by establishing governance routines monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions to protect client value
  • Promote sustainable logistics practices by incorporating emissions reduction modal shift and network efficiency levers into recommendations that support broader societal and environmental goals


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate extensive experience of at least twenty years in consulting or equivalent strategic roles with significant focus on Transportation and Logistics domain environments
  • Possess deep knowledge of transportation planning fleet operations carrier management and freight optimization gained through long term engagement in logistics intensive organizations
  • Show proven ability to manage complex consulting programs with multiple stakeholders while maintaining scope budget and timeline in a hybrid work model without heavy travel requirements
  • Exhibit strong skills in quantitative analysis financial modeling and performance measurement to translate logistics data into insights that directly support executive decision making
  • Apply familiarity with transportation management systems order management tools and related supply chain technologies to guide clients through solution selection and process harmonization
  • Bring excellent communication facilitation and storytelling capabilities to present complex Transportation and Logistics concepts in clear and actionable terms for diverse business audiences
  • Display a consultative mindset with the capacity to challenge existing practices constructively encourage innovation and drive adoption of best in class Transportation and Logistics processes
