Join Cognizant as one of their IT Transition leaders within the Program and Project Management Center of Excellence. This critical role will anchor drafting complex transition solutions for IT transitions alongside executing complex IT transitions within multi-service, multi-geo, and multi-vendor engagements. Successful candidates will manage both transition objectives as well as ensuring seaming transitions across engagements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Overall Successfully and Independently manage:
o the development of complex IT transition solutions for client pursuits ranging across different domains and verticals
o execution of complex multi-service line and geo transitions with multiple towers/workstreams
· Pursuit Work:
o Ability to independently:
§ Compose custom detailed transition plans for complex pursuits that may include rebadging, GCCs, multiple: towers, workstreams, geographies, stakeholders, technologies, etc.
§ Collaborate, advise, and guide account and delivery teams on transition requirements, strategy, timelines, milestones, and metrics for transition success
o Participate in composure SOWs and contracts ensuring they are measurable and attainable
o Act as the single point of contact for the transition
o Ability to present entire Transition Solution to C-Suite executives during Orals for RFPs. RFI’s etc
· Execution Work:
o Act as single point of contact for client and account team on transition executions
o Create, execute, and manage a Transition plan, including timelines, durations, metrics, staffing, etc
o End to End accountability for all transition efforts and metrics
o Thorough and complete understanding of Knowledge Transition activities, phases, deliverables, and exit criteria for IT Transitions
o Manage numerous transitions simultaneously
o Manage end to end transition execution from planning to Go-Live
o Facilitate and help drive efforts in Transformation and Organizational Change Management initiatives
o Closely work with stakeholders on ensuring alignment and visibility
o Work closely with all internal teams to ensure proper staffing, execution, understanding, and measures are in place and aligned with plan
o Ability to identify and proactively address risks
o Lead all transition governance cadences ensuring transparency and visibility to all stakeholders
o Ability to act as a trusted partner with stakeholder’s to help steer the direction of the transition to a successful close
o Internally and externally report on transition efforts
Experience Required
· Experience managing large and complex IT Transitions across multiple geographies and technologies
· Experience managing IT transitions of 250 FTEs and 500 applications or greater
· Experience leading IT Transitions for Application Development and Application Support under a Managed Services within Agile, Waterfall , or Hybrid environments
· Experience and understanding of Transformation efforts in large and complex organizations
· Experience managing organization wide change
· Experience managing transitions with more than 50 active stakeholders
· Experience with leadership conflict resolution
· Experience in a variety of domains and verticals
· Comprehensive experience with RFP, RFI, and orals presentations with C-Suite executives
Minimal understanding of infrastructure transition would be helpful but not required
