About the role
As an Consulting Manager, Payment Architecture, you will make an impact by designing and delivering scalable, secure payment solutions across banking and fintech ecosystems, enabling real-time transaction capabilities and modern payment integrations. You will be a valued member of the Payments & Financial Services Consulting team and work collaboratively with business, product, engineering, operations stakeholders, and clients.
In this role, you will:
Design and deliver enterprise payment solutions, with strong focus on architecture, implementation strategy, and integration across banking and fintech platforms
Lead solution architecture for payments, covering API-based integrations, microservices architecture, and end-to-end payment flows (issuer, processor, and network interactions)
Collaborate with clients, banks, processors (FIS, Fiserv), and fintech/payment enablers (e.g., TabaPay, Brightwell, Linker Finance) to enable scalable payment ecosystems
Conduct stakeholder workshops to define target-state architectures, business requirements, and scalable solution designs across cross-functional teams
Document current-state vs. target-state architectures, identifying gaps, risks, dependencies, and driving governance, alignment, and implementation roadmaps

What you must have to be considered
10+ years of experience in designing and delivering enterprise payment solutions
Proven experience as a Solution Architect within Payments domain (mandatory)
Strong understanding of payment architectures, including issuer, processor, and network interactions
Hands-on experience with API-based integrations, microservices, and modern payment platforms
Experience working with banks, payment processors (e.g., FIS, Fiserv), and fintech/payment enablers
Ability to lead architecture workshops and engage with cross-functional stakeholders to define scalable solutions
These will help you succeed
Exposure to Visa ecosystem, including Visa Direct, card-based flows, or real-time payments (nice to have, not mandatory)
Experience defining target-state architectures and transformation roadmaps in payments
Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and dependency mapping in large-scale implementations
Experience working in consulting environments with client-facing responsibilities
Excellent communication and documentation skills to translate complex architectures into clear deliverables
