Cognizant is a large IT Consulting Firm that leverages modern technologies to transform a variety of business operations. Under general supervision, the Enrollment Processor is responsible for executing enrollment-related transactions, maintaining accurate member records, and ensuring compliance with Customer, State, and Federal requirements. This role supports critical business operations by processing enrollment activities in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. This is a fully remote role for candidates living in the United States.
Role Responsibilities
- Process member enrollments, disenrollments, and routing updates within Enrollment systems in accordance with established procedures
- Maintain and update member records to ensure accuracy and compliance with Customer and regulatory requirements
- Ensure adherence to all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and CMS guidelines
- Transmit enrollment information to CMS within designated timeframes
- Process routine member record updates, including but not limited to:
- Identification card requests
- Mailing address and contact information changes
- Accurately create and process ADD records within Enrollment systems
- Analyze and identify gaps in member coverage and take appropriate action
- Review attestation documentation to determine eligibility and coverage status
- Navigate, interpret, and validate data across multiple Enrollment, State, and Federal systems
- Demonstrate understanding of end-to-end processes within assigned functional area
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Desired Skills & Experience
- At least a High School diploma or GED is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of professionalism
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a structured environment
Work Schedule Requirements
- Ability to work assigned schedules based on business needs, including potential variation in hours and days for remote employees
Flexibility to work overtime as required, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Attributes
- Experience working in healthcare, insurance, or a regulatory/compliance-driven environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Salary and Other Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is $15 per hour.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
