Job Summary
The Loan Operations department is responsible for the management and execution of thousands of Corporate & Syndicated Loan transactions daily. Responsibilities include trade processing & confirmation, settlement, fail management, risk management, and client service. The operations professionals help build and support the commercial loan products, processes and services in ways that improve efficiency and quality, while seeking new and innovative ways to support our clients’ changing needs.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
· Possesses a comprehensive understanding of C&I & Wholesale loans line of businesses which include syndicated and bilateral arrangements
· Experienced in reviewing loan & support documents, updating deal parameters on loan systems, tracking & performing all deal activities, and providing overall support for the assigned loan portfolio.
· Activities include processing of C&I & Wholesale loans line of businesses which include syndicated and bilateral arrangements covering account maintenance, payments & servicing, loan trading, and agency functions.
· Perform reconciliations for the assigned portfolio. Recon includes investigating and resolving the cash breaks and position breaks.
· Completion of loans assigned my team leads make sure no SLA misses and focus on productivity and quality.
Experience
· Knowledge of commercial loan documentation. Ability to review commercial Lending documents such as loan agreement, notes, guaranties, and security documents for accuracy and agreement with approved terms
· Knowledge of commercial Lending products
· Knowledge of credit and commercial loan systems.
· Good verbal, written and organizational skills
· Detail oriented with ability to multi task and prioritize and work in a team based environment
Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance & accounting
· 2-4 years of relevant Experience in commercial/wholesale lending, loan syndication & bi-laterals
· Experience with LoanIQ platform is added advantage
