About the Role
As a Principal Consultant – Program Management (Supply Chain & Logistics), you will lead large-scale transformation programs focused on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with a specialization in Manhattan Active WMS. You will partner with senior client stakeholders to drive end-to-end program execution, solution strategy, and value realization across global organizations.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex, multi-service transformation programs across supply chain, logistics, and warehouse operations, ensuring delivery excellence across global teams
- Drive Manhattan Active WMS transformations, including solution design, implementation oversight, testing, and operational readiness
- Establish program governance frameworks, managing scope, risks, financials, stakeholders, and benefits realization
- Advise clients on warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory, fulfillment, labor management, and automation strategies
- Partner with executives to align programs with business outcomes, while contributing to growth through solutioning, proposals, and client relationship expansion
Additionally, you will consistently demonstrate the Cognizant Way to Lead—driving client impact, managing ambiguity, and inspiring high-performing teams.
Work Model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this position requires 40–50% travel and presence in a client or Cognizant office in Atlanta, GA. What you must have to be considered
- 15+ years of consulting or program management experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse transformation
- Proven leadership of large-scale global programs, managing multi-service delivery, financials, and executive stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with Manhattan Active WMS (or WMOS), including at least two full lifecycle implementations
- Deep functional expertise in warehouse operations, including inbound/outbound flows, inventory, picking, and labor management
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-geography teams and deliver measurable business value
These will help you succeed
- Experience with warehouse automation, material handling integration, or supply chain modernization programs
- Exposure to additional WMS platforms (e.g., Blue Yonder)
- Strong executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting RFPs, deal solutioning, and consulting sales cycles
- Certifications such as PMI, SAFe, PRINCE2, or equivalent program management credentials

Compensation
This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and applicable plans.
