Architect role focused on designing and optimizing ServiceNow ITSM solutions for a global enterprise environment requiring ten to twelve years of experience in complex platform implementations and integrations with accountability for high quality delivery in a hybrid day shift work model without mandatory business travel.
Responsibilities
Design ServiceNow ITSM architectures that align with enterprise standards and produce scalable resilient and maintainable solutions that support long term platform growth and stability.Define ServiceNow ITSM implementation roadmaps that prioritize value driven features and ensure predictable delivery aligned to stakeholder expectations and organization wide transformation goals.Collaborate closely with product owners process owners and business partners to translate service management requirements into clear ServiceNow ITSM designs that drive measurable operational improvement.Guide development teams in applying ServiceNow configuration patterns and best practices so that delivered ITSM modules remain consistent reliable and simple to maintain across environments.Review technical designs and solution documents to ensure that ServiceNow ITSM implementations follow security guidelines performance baselines and reuse oriented component design.Coordinate with integration specialists to define ServiceNow data and process integrations that ensure accurate information flow while protecting data quality and reducing manual effort.Oversee environment strategies for ServiceNow ITSM including instance usage configuration migration and regression validation to support safe and repeatable releases in a hybrid work model.Establish monitoring practices for ServiceNow ITSM performance availability and error handling so that incidents can be proactively detected investigated and resolved before business impact occurs.Create and maintain platform standards reference models and reusable configuration patterns that accelerate future ServiceNow ITSM enhancements and reduce delivery risk.Engage with operations and support teams to define runbooks and support procedures that enable efficient day to day platform operations and continuous service improvement.Document architectural decisions design rationales and configuration guidelines in a structured repository so that future teams gain clear insight into platform behavior and constraints.Mentor junior practitioners by sharing ServiceNow ITSM architectural techniques patterns and review feedback that strengthen overall team capability and solution quality.Align ServiceNow ITSM solutions with organizational purpose by enabling more reliable incident change and request processes that improve employee experience and indirectly strengthen services delivered to society.
Qualifications
Require ten to twelve years of overall experience in enterprise information technology with significant focus on architecting and implementing large scale service management platforms.Require extensive hands on experience designing configuring and optimizing ServiceNow ITSM modules including incident problem change request and knowledge management in complex environments.Require strong exposure to hybrid work delivery models with proven ability to collaborate effectively using digital tools and to coordinate across distributed business and technical stakeholders.Require practical experience with ServiceNow scripting workflows and configuration management to the extent needed to review solutions and guide teams toward maintainable implementation choices.Require familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL and the ability to interpret process requirements into practical ServiceNow configurations that enhance operational efficiency.Prefer experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise tools for monitoring identity management and asset management using commonly adopted integration techniques focused on reliability and security.Prefer background in performance tuning and capacity planning for ServiceNow instances including design choices that manage data growth maintain response time and uphold user satisfaction.Prefer prior involvement in migration or upgrade projects where legacy service management solutions were transitioned into standardized ServiceNow ITSM architectures with minimal disruption.Prefer strong communication and documentation skills that support clear explanation of architectural options tradeoffs and impacts to both business partners and technical contributors.
