Job Summary

This hybrid role is for a senior architect with twelve to sixteen years of experience in designing optimizing and governing enterprise data platforms using SQL and Informatica Powercenter. The role focuses on scalable data integration performance tuned analytics and resilient architectures that support critical business outcomes while aligning with industry best practices and compliance needs.


Responsibilities

  • Design robust enterprise data architectures that use SQL and Informatica Powercenter to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions aligned to business goals
  • Develop end to end data integration blueprints that define source to target mappings transformation logic and scheduling strategies to support analytics and operational workloads
  • Coordinate with product owners and business stakeholders to translate complex data requirements into clear architecture components and detailed implementation designs
  • Guide data engineers on building reusable ETL components in Informatica Powercenter and optimized SQL procedures that improve throughput and reduce maintenance overhead
  • Optimize SQL queries data models and ETL workflows by analyzing performance metrics and applying indexing partitioning and workload management strategies
  • Establish data quality frameworks that define validation rules reconciliation checks and exception handling patterns to ensure trusted and auditable data
  • Create detailed architecture documents data flow diagrams and integration patterns that provide implementation guidance and support long term platform evolution
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and database teams to define capacity plans backup strategies and high availability options that ensure resilient and secure operations
  • Review solution designs and code deliverables to verify alignment with reference architectures coding standards and reusable patterns while highlighting improvement opportunities
  • Drive adoption of metadata management practices by defining standards for lineage tracking impact analysis and documentation of data assets across the ecosystem
  • Mentor team members by sharing best practices in SQL tuning ETL design and modular architecture patterns that enhance overall team effectiveness and technical maturity
  • Align architectural decisions with organizational data strategy by advocating for scalable platforms cloud readiness and compliance with regulatory expectations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by assessing new data technologies and tools and proposing incremental enhancements that increase reliability performance and business value


Qualifications

  • Reflect a strong educational foundation in computer science information technology or a related discipline supported by substantial exposure to enterprise data systems
  • Demonstrate twelve to sixteen years of progressive experience in data architecture or senior ETL design roles with a consistent focus on large scale integration initiatives
  • Show deep proficiency in SQL including complex joins window functions query tuning and design of normalized and dimensional data models for analytics and reporting
  • Exhibit advanced hands on experience with Informatica Powercenter including mapping design workflow orchestration parameterization and reusable transformation patterns
  • Display proven experience designing and implementing data integration solutions in hybrid work environments while collaborating seamlessly with distributed teams
  • Illustrate strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts including star schemas slowly changing dimensions and fact table design tailored to analytical use cases
  • Indicate familiarity with scheduling tools version control and deployment processes that support reliable and repeatable promotion of data pipelines across environments
  • Highlight practical understanding of data governance security and privacy practices including role based access management and controlled exposure of sensitive information
  • Emphasize excellent communication and documentation skills that enable clear articulation of architecture decisions and effective collaboration with technical and nontechnical partners
  • Prefer exposure to cloud data platforms and modern analytics ecosystems where integration patterns and SQL skills were applied to deliver measurable business outcomes
