Job summary
Serve as a senior geospatial analyst focused on validating high quality map data through robust manual and automated testing in a hybrid work model. Apply strong expertise in functional and regression testing automation frameworks and continuous integration and delivery to ensure reliable map services that enhance navigation location intelligence and user safety for customers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Perform end to end functional and regression testing of geospatial map features to ensure high accuracy consistency and reliability across diverse platforms and devices
- Design detailed test strategies and test cases for geospatial data validation that cover complex location scenarios and real world use patterns
- Execute manual testing for new map releases and incremental updates to identify data defects rendering issues and functional gaps before production deployment
- Develop and maintain robust automation scripts to validate map tiles routing behavior and geospatial search workflows within agreed quality thresholds
- Implement and optimize continuous integration and delivery test pipelines to enable efficient validation of frequent map data refreshes and application builds
- Collaborate closely with product owners developers and data engineers to clarify geospatial requirements and translate them into comprehensive test coverage
- Analyze test results and geospatial defect trends to provide clear insights prioritization inputs and recommendations that improve map quality and user experience
- Document test plans test execution evidence and reproducible defect reports that support timely triage and resolution by engineering teams
- Drive root cause discussions for recurring geospatial defects and contribute to preventive measures such as enhanced validation rules and data quality checks
- Mentor junior analysts on geospatial testing techniques data validation methods and effective usage of automation and continuous integration practices
- Coordinate with cross functional stakeholders to align test schedules data refresh cycles and release readiness criteria for map updates in a hybrid work environment
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards data privacy expectations and compliance guidelines while validating geospatial features and map content
- Continuously explore new tools frameworks and industry practices in geospatial testing and automation to strengthen overall quality engineering capability
Qualifications
- Showcase solid experience in geospatial or map based application testing with strong understanding of coordinate systems routing logic and location based use cases
- Demonstrate advanced hands on expertise in functional and regression test design execution and defect management for complex enterprise applications
- Apply proven experience in manual testing including exploratory testing test case creation and boundary analysis for data intensive products
- Utilize strong skills in automation development with at least one major framework to scale regression coverage and accelerate feedback cycles
- Exhibit practical experience in continuous integration and delivery environments including configuration of automated test suites and reporting within build pipelines
- Display familiarity with hybrid work practices and remote collaboration tools to coordinate effectively with global teams and stakeholders
- Leverage excellent analytical communication and documentation skills to articulate test findings risk assessments and quality recommendations to technical and non technical partners
