Qualifications:
• Possess professional experience of two to four years in systems engineering or desktop support roles with accountability for end user computing environments.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in installation configuration and troubleshooting of current desktop operating systems along with common productivity and collaboration applications.
• Exhibit practical knowledge of remote support tools and ticketing platforms with the ability to handle multiple incidents concurrently while maintaining service quality.
• Apply understanding of endpoint security concepts including malware protection security updates and data protection practices in daily support activities.
• Show familiarity with basic networking concepts such as IP addressing connectivity checks and wireless configuration as they relate to desktop connectivity issues.
• Display effective communication and customer service skills that enable clear explanations of technical topics to non technical users and contribute to a positive support experience.
• Value structured documentation practices including maintenance of knowledge base articles asset details and incident records that support consistency and audit readiness.

Responsibilities
• Provide remote and onsite desktop support to resolve hardware and software issues for employees within defined service levels and quality expectations.
• Manage installation configuration and maintenance of operating systems and standard workplace applications to ensure a consistent and secure desktop environment.
• Troubleshoot incidents related to laptops desktops peripherals and collaboration tools documenting each case with clear technical details in the ticketing system.
• Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams to escalate complex issues ensuring thorough follow up until closure and clear communication with the affected user.
• Monitor endpoint performance and capacity trends recommending improvements that enhance reliability user productivity and system responsiveness without disrupting business operations.
• Implement endpoint security controls such as antivirus disk encryption and patch deployment ensuring compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring desktop problems and propose sustainable solutions that reduce incident volume and improve long term stability.
• Assist in user onboarding and offboarding activities by preparing standard configured devices managing access rights and ensuring safe data handling throughout the device lifecycle.
• Create and update technical documentation and user facing guides for common procedures enabling faster issue resolution and enhancing self service capabilities for employees.
• Collaborate with procurement and asset management teams to track device inventory coordinate replacements or upgrades and keep accurate records for audits and planning.
• Participate in business continuity and recovery activities by validating endpoint readiness testing key scenarios and supporting restoration of services after planned or unplanned events.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with users of varying technical backgrounds setting realistic expectations explaining solutions and promoting positive digital experiences.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by sharing field insights suggesting process optimizations and adopting new tools that streamline desktop support operations and reduce downtime.
