Job Summary
This project is new and in partnership with EDMO we are planning to stand up a team that can work with other teams in the enterprise to implement Collibra. This work may last 2-4 years as each team cycle is roughly 3-4 months. We are looking for this team to provide the setup training an maintenance as we need to ensure consistency.
Responsibilities
- Drive the design and maintenance of enterprise data governance solutions that enable reliable analytics and support critical business decisions
- Oversee the configuration and upkeep of Collibra based data governance platforms to ensure consistent metadata management and policy compliance across the organization
- Coordinate cross functional stakeholders to capture data requirements and translate them into actionable governance rules that align with enterprise standards
- Develop scalable processes for data cataloging and lineage tracking that enhance transparency and trust in enterprise data assets
- Monitor data quality metrics and implement remediation plans that reduce data defects and improve overall reliability of analytical outputs
- Guide the implementation of maintenance procedures for data platforms that minimize downtime and ensure stable performance for business users
- Create detailed documentation for data models business glossaries and governance workflows that enable efficient onboarding and ongoing knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to optimize integration of Collibra with other enterprise systems ensuring seamless data flows
- Analyze complex data usage patterns to recommend improvements in governance controls and access policies that protect sensitive information
- Partner with product and business teams to prioritize data initiatives that directly contribute to client value and organizational outcomes
- Develop reports and dashboards that clearly present governance metrics and platform health indicators to stakeholders at various levels
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data professionals by sharing best practices in data governance maintenance and analytical problem solving
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in data governance processes focusing on automation standardization and measurable business impact
Qualifications
- Possess ten to fourteen years of progressive experience in data analysis data governance or related disciplines with hands on exposure to large scale enterprise environments
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Collibra including configuration of domains workflows roles and stewardship models within complex organizations
- Exhibit strong experience in ongoing maintenance of data platforms including monitoring troubleshooting and optimizing data governance tools
- Show practical knowledge of enterprise data architecture concepts such as data catalogs data lineage reference data and master data management
- Apply solid analytical and SQL skills to validate data integrity perform root cause analysis and support remediation activities for critical datasets
- Display familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to data management and apply these principles within governance frameworks
- Communicate effectively with technical and non technical partners by translating data governance concepts into clear and practical guidance
- Utilize strong problem solving and time management capabilities to handle multiple concurrent initiatives in a hybrid work setting without travel requirements
