About the role:
As a Consulting Manager, OCM Communications Lead, you will make an impact by developing and executing strategic communications programs that drive adoption, stakeholder engagement, and business readiness across large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives. You will be a valued member of the Transformation Management Consulting team and work collaboratively with client leaders, change management teams, project stakeholders, and cross-functional delivery teams to ensure effective communication throughout the transformation journey.
In this role, you will:
• Lead the development and execution of enterprise communication strategies, governance frameworks, and multi-channel communication plans for transformation programs.
• Partner with client stakeholders to identify target audiences, define key messages, establish communication channels, and create communication roadmaps that support organizational change.
• Manage communication deliverables, stakeholder engagement activities, leadership messaging, and adoption campaigns while monitoring effectiveness and business impact.
• Facilitate executive and stakeholder meetings, provide communications guidance, and manage risks, issues, and mitigation plans related to change adoption.
• Contribute to business development initiatives, proposal creation, thought leadership, and practice development while mentoring and coaching consulting teams.
Work model:

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring three days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, or Querétaro, Mexico. What you need to have to be considered:
• 6–8+ years of management consulting experience, including experience leading digital transformation, technology, or organizational change initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience designing and delivering end-to-end communication strategies for large-scale technical or business transformations.
• Experience managing stakeholder communications, engagement programs, multi-channel campaigns, and adoption initiatives across complex organizations.
• Strong project management capabilities with experience coordinating multiple workstreams and collaborating across global teams.
• Experience leading technical and non-technical initiatives in client-facing environments.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
These will help you stand out:
• Experience supporting digital transformation, AI adoption, ERP implementations, or other enterprise technology programs.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban methodologies; gamification experience is a plus.
• Relevant industry, domain, or product certifications in Banking, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Communications, Media & Technology, Enterprise Process, or Technology Modernization.
• Experience applying quality management frameworks and methodologies such as Six Sigma.
• MBA, PGDM, or other advanced degree.
• Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring teams while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
