Job Summary

This hybrid role is for a Technical Lead specializing in desktop and device management using SCCM Intune and Windows imaging with MS MDT supporting rotational shifts without travel requirements. The position focuses on designing implementing and optimizing endpoint management solutions that enhance operational efficiency reinforce security posture and deliver consistent user experiences across the enterprise environment ensuring reliable services for global teams.


Responsibilities

  • Lead end to end design and optimization of enterprise desktop management solutions using SCCM to ensure stable secure and scalable endpoint operations across multiple business units.
  • Oversee deployment and maintenance of operating system images with MS MDT to provide consistent configurations faster provisioning cycles and reduced onboarding time for end users.
  • Drive configuration and policy management for cloud based device management platforms using Intune to improve security controls compliance alignment and remote management capabilities.
  • Coordinate packaging testing and deployment of applications through SCCM to maintain high reliability minimal disruption and timely delivery of critical software to all supported devices.
  • Monitor endpoint health performance metrics and compliance status using SCCM and Intune reporting to identify trends proactively address issues and support continuous service improvement.
  • Provide hands on troubleshooting support for desktop management incidents in rotational shifts to restore services quickly and maintain strong user satisfaction within service level expectations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for standard operating procedures runbooks and technical configurations to support consistent operations and knowledge sharing across the technical team.
  • Collaborate with security network and workplace technology teams to align device management standards with broader enterprise policies and industry best practices for secure endpoint operations.
  • Implement automation and scripting within SCCM Intune and MDT workflows to reduce manual effort minimize human error and increase overall efficiency of endpoint management tasks.
  • Support planning and execution of operating system upgrades and patch deployments for Windows environments to safeguard systems maintain compatibility and reduce vulnerability exposure.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand desktop and device management requirements translate them into technical solutions and deliver outcomes that support business productivity and continuity.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing incident patterns change outcomes and user feedback to refine configurations processes and service delivery models.
  • Coordinate work effectively in a hybrid setup and rotational shift pattern to ensure consistent coverage resilient operations and dependable support for global and regional users.

  • Qualifications

  • Apply strong experience in SCCM administration and desktop management to design robust configurations application deployments collections and reporting that match enterprise scale needs.
  • Utilize practical expertise with Intune based device management to configure policies profiles and conditional access that enhance security and compliance without compromising usability.
  • Leverage solid knowledge of Windows operating systems to diagnose endpoint issues support OS lifecycle activities and validate compatibility for applications and security updates.
  • Use proven hands on experience with MS MDT imaging to create and maintain standardized build processes task sequences and deployment workflows for diverse hardware profiles.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with hybrid work models and rotational shift operations to manage time communication and handovers in a way that sustains steady support coverage.
  • Apply strong problem solving abilities and analytical thinking to troubleshoot complex endpoint issues and recommend practical improvements to device management practices.
  • Draw on experience of four to six years in desktop and device management roles to balance operational execution with enhancement activities that benefit both users and the organization.

  • Certifications Required

    Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator or equivalent validation of skills in SCCM Intune and Windows desktop management.
