Job Summary

Contribute as a systems engineer specializing in desktop and device management by implementing and supporting endpoint solutions using SCCM Intune Windows and MDT imaging within a hybrid work model and rotational shifts while focusing on secure efficient and reliable user experiences that align with enterprise standards and positively influence productivity across the organization


Responsibilities

  • Manage enterprise desktop environments using SCCM to ensure timely deployment of applications operating system updates and security patches that maintain a stable and secure experience for all users across the organization
  • Configure and optimize SCCM collections task sequences and client settings to improve deployment success rates and reduce incidents that disrupt daily business operations
  • Monitor SCCM infrastructure health and endpoint compliance through detailed reporting and remediation actions that support organizational standards for security and performance
  • Administer Intune device management policies for Windows endpoints to enforce configuration baselines and protect data while enabling flexible work experiences for hybrid teams
  • Create and maintain Intune profiles and compliance policies that align with company security requirements while providing predictable device behavior for users in rotational shifts
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to analyze endpoint requirements and design standardized configurations that help reduce support efforts and improve user satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain Windows operating system images using MDT to streamline provisioning processes and provide consistent device setups for new hires and hardware refresh cycles
  • Execute OS imaging and deployment tasks with MDT and related tools to ensure that devices are ready for use with minimal downtime and adherence to company configuration standards
  • Troubleshoot endpoint issues related to SCCM Intune Windows and MDT imaging by performing systematic root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions that reduce recurring problems
  • Document technical procedures deployment workflows and troubleshooting steps in clear and accessible formats so that support teams can resolve future issues faster and more accurately
  • Support security and compliance initiatives by applying configuration hardening through SCCM and Intune policies that help protect company information and societal trust in the enterprise
  • Coordinate with service desk personnel to review incident trends and provide targeted endpoint solutions that improve stability for users working in hybrid arrangements and rotational shifts
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new endpoint management features and proposing enhancements that align with company goals and deliver more reliable technology experiences for colleagues and customers

  • Qualifications

  • Demonstrate practical experience with SCCM based desktop management including application deployment patch management and client health monitoring gained over one to three years in a systems engineering or similar role
  • Show hands on expertise with Intune device management for Windows endpoints including configuration profiles compliance policies and enrollment methods that support secure hybrid work environments
  • Possess solid knowledge of Windows operating system configuration troubleshooting and performance tuning with the ability to apply best practices that improve reliability and user productivity
  • Apply experience in OS imaging using MDT and related deployment tools to create maintain and update standardized images that support consistent device provisioning across the organization
  • Exhibit familiarity with hybrid work and rotational shift support requirements including remote connectivity considerations and endpoint readiness to ensure smooth operations for diverse teams
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving abilities with a focus on resolving endpoint issues efficiently and communicating solutions clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Display awareness of security and compliance principles in endpoint management including patching configuration baselines and policy enforcement that contribute to the company mission of protecting data and serving society responsibly

  • Certifications Required

    Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator or equivalent certification focused on SCCM Intune and Windows endpoint management
