Job Summary

Infra Technology Specialist role focused on advanced desktop and device management using SCCM and Intune with strong expertise in Windows operating systems and MS MDT imaging. The specialist will design implement and optimize hybrid workplace endpoint solutions for a global environment ensuring secure reliable and compliant access while supporting rotational shifts and collaborating with cross functional teams.


Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable enterprise desktop management solutions using SCCM to ensure consistent and secure configuration across all managed endpoints in a hybrid work environment.
  • Optimize SCCM software distribution and patch management processes to reduce deployment failures and improve endpoint compliance and stability for business critical applications.
  • Configure and manage Intune based device policies to enable secure remote access for users while maintaining robust data protection and regulatory compliance across the device landscape.
  • Implement and refine Intune configuration profiles and conditional access strategies that improve user experience and minimize support effort without compromising security.
  • Develop and maintain standardized Windows operating system images using MS MDT to support rapid reliable provisioning and reimaging of devices across multiple locations.
  • Coordinate rotational shift based operational support activities including monitoring endpoint health responding to incidents and driving timely resolution of desktop and device issues.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure security and application teams to integrate desktop management strategies with broader technology roadmaps ensuring alignment with company standards and long term objectives.
  • Document desktop and device management procedures runbooks and configuration standards to support repeatable operations onboarding of new team members and continuous service improvement.
  • Analyze endpoint performance and policy compliance metrics to identify recurring issues propose corrective actions and drive optimization initiatives that enhance productivity for users.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex Windows operating system imaging and deployment problems using MS MDT and related tools to minimize downtime and avoid disruption to business services.
  • Coordinate small to medium scale endpoint rollout projects such as operating system upgrades or application migrations ensuring clear communication risk mitigation and successful completion within agreed timelines.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by evaluating new features within SCCM Intune and Windows platforms recommending practical enhancements that deliver measurable value to the organization and wider society through more sustainable efficient technology usage.
  • Contribute technical expertise to endpoint security initiatives ensuring that desktop configurations patching practices and device policies reduce risk exposure and support responsible data handling for customers and communities.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess solid experience in enterprise desktop management using SCCM including application packaging deployment collections and reporting aligned with environments of similar scale and complexity.
  • Demonstrate strong skills with Intune based device management covering policy configuration compliance rules and integration with identity services to support hybrid work models.
  • Exhibit deep understanding of Windows operating systems including installation configuration hardening and troubleshooting in corporate environments with diverse hardware profiles.
  • Bring hands on proficiency in OS imaging solutions based on MS MDT including task sequence design driver management and automation for efficient large scale deployments.
  • Show practical knowledge of endpoint security fundamentals such as antivirus policies firewall configuration and patch governance applied through desktop management platforms.
  • Apply experience working in rotational shift models providing reliable support coverage and maintaining handover discipline to sustain consistent service quality.
  • Utilize strong analytical and problem solving abilities to investigate complex device incidents interpret logs and propose durable fixes that enhance long term operational stability.
  • Communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical stakeholders providing concise status updates and guidance that help teams understand endpoint changes and their impact on day to day work.

  • Certifications Required

    Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate or equivalent desktop management certification relevant to SCCM Intune and Windows environments.
