About the Role
As a Senior Facets Product & Benefits Configuration Consultant, you will make an impact by designing and delivering innovative healthcare payer solutions that support critical product, benefits, and member experience initiatives. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Platform Consulting team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, operations teams, product managers, network teams, care management teams, and technology partners to develop scalable and effective Facets configuration solutions.
This role is ideal for a healthcare configuration professional who enjoys translating business requirements into system capabilities, driving process improvements, and influencing enterprise-wide healthcare transformation initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Facets Product and Benefits solutions based on approved business requirements.
- Partner with business and operational stakeholders to develop scalable, reusable configuration solutions that support organizational goals.
- Participate in global and detailed design sessions while providing subject matter expertise on Facets Product and Benefits functionality.
- Guide day-to-day configuration activities and provide leadership to project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Collaborate with operations, product, network, care management, and technology teams to define and deliver high-quality configuration solutions.
- Ensure configuration documentation is accurately developed, reviewed, maintained, and approved by key business stakeholders.
- Support business requirements gathering and business process improvement initiatives through expertise in Facets capabilities and best practices.
- Lead configuration testing efforts, including test strategy development, test case creation, quality assurance activities, and user acceptance testing support.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring TriZetto Facets Product and Benefits modules.
- 5+ years of healthcare payer industry experience with a strong focus on product and benefits administration.
- Strong understanding of healthcare benefit structures, products, and payer operations.
- Experience translating business requirements into functional configuration designs and scalable solutions.
- Proven experience leading configuration activities across complex healthcare implementations or transformation projects.
- Experience supporting quality assurance, configuration testing, and user acceptance testing processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage business and technical stakeholders.
These Will Help You Stand Out
- Experience leading enterprise-scale Facets implementation, enhancement, or modernization initiatives.
- Expertise in Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid product and benefits configuration.
- Experience facilitating client workshops, design sessions, and business requirements discussions.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and provide configuration leadership across large programs.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $93,000 - $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
