Job Summary

This role is for a Functional Architect with deep expertise in SAP S4 hana and associated data migration and lifecycle processes responsible for designing robust functional architectures that support complex manufacturing and supply chain operations in a hybrid work model. The architect will translate business needs into scalable solutions using SAP Solution Manager and S4HANA Cloud while ensuring adherence to GxP and non GxP standards and enabling predictable program delivery through tools s


Responsibilities

  • Design functional architectures for SAP S4 hana and S4HANA Cloud that align with enterprise strategy and enable sustainable business value across manufacturing and supply chain operations
  • Define integrated business process flows that connect manufacturing supply chain quality and finance domains using standardized configurations in RISE with SAP and related platforms
  • Coordinate end to end blueprinting workshops with stakeholders to capture business needs and translate them into clear and testable functional requirements for SAP solutions
  • Guide configuration of SAP modules to support GxP and non GxP process frameworks while maintaining clear separation of compliant and non compliant workflows
  • Develop detailed functional designs for SAP data migration strategy including object prioritization mapping rules validation approaches and cutover preparations
  • Oversee SAP S4H data migration execution by collaborating with technical teams to ensure data completeness accuracy and audit readiness across all relevant objects
  • Create and maintain functional data models that reflect key manufacturing and supply chain entities ensuring consistency and traceability across systems and environments
  • Align SAP Solution Manager usage for documentation test management and change control so that solution artifacts remain current and support audit and inspection readiness
  • Use MS Project to structure functional work breakdowns track milestones dependencies and risks and provide timely progress updates to program management
  • Use Jira to manage functional backlogs user stories defects and enhancements ensuring transparent traceability from requirement through deployment and hypercare
  • Define validation approaches for GxP and non GxP process scenarios including identification of critical functions required evidence and alignment with quality expectations
  • Collaborate with data and integration teams to ensure that SAP data migration and interfaces support accurate reporting analytics and operational decision making
  • Provide functional guidance during testing cycles including system integration testing user acceptance testing and regression testing to ensure solution stability and regulatory alignment
  • Provide functional input for release planning and deployment waves so that changes are sequenced logically and minimize disruption to business operations
  • Document functional designs configuration decisions and data migration rules in clear and concise formats that can be reused for future enhancements and audits
  • Partner with manufacturing and supply chain business teams to refine solutions based on feedback and evolving needs while ensuring process standardization wherever practical
  • Support post go live stabilization by diagnosing functional issues analyzing root causes and recommending sustainable corrective actions that protect data integrity and compliance
  • Advise on best practices for hybrid working arrangements including collaboration approaches and documentation standards that keep distributed teams aligned on functional outcomes


Qualifications

  • Require extensive experience in SAP Solution Manager with practical use in documenting processes managing testing and overseeing change management activities in complex programs
  • Require strong background in SAP data migration strategy and SAP S4H data migration including object scoping data cleansing transformation mapping reconciliation and cutover execution
  • Require hands on experience with SAP S4 hana S4HANA Cloud and RISE with SAP with emphasis on configuring and supporting core manufacturing and supply chain processes
  • Require demonstrated experience using MS Project and Jira to manage plans backlogs dependencies and risks for large scale SAP transformation initiatives
  • Require applied knowledge of GxP and non GxP process design including validation documentation testing evidence collection and ongoing compliance monitoring
  • Prefer domain experience in manufacturing and supply chain including understanding of production planning inventory management logistics quality operations and related data models
  • Prefer exposure to enterprise data models and analytics concepts to ensure that SAP structures support reporting performance KPIs and regulatory submissions
  • Prefer experience working in hybrid teams across locations and functions with clear communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in virtual and onsite settings
