Job Summary
Infra Technology Specialist role in a global enterprise environment focusing on AI Ops driven observability Linux platform management and Oracle database administration. The specialist will design stable scalable and secure infrastructure solutions optimize operations through automation and collaborate with cross functional teams in a hybrid work model to ensure reliable service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI Ops driven monitoring solutions that proactively detect infrastructure anomalies and improve service reliability for critical enterprise applications.
- Configure harden and maintain Linux systems in production environments to ensure stable secure and high performing infrastructure operations across multiple business units.
- Administer Oracle databases by performing installation configuration patching and performance tuning activities to support reliable data platforms for business critical workloads.
- Develop automation scripts and workflows for routine operational tasks to reduce manual effort standardize processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Analyze infrastructure incidents identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions that reduce recurrence and improve system resilience.
- Collaborate with application security and network teams to design integrated solutions that align infrastructure capabilities with business requirements and compliance expectations.
- Optimize resource utilization across compute storage and database layers using AI Ops insights to improve performance while managing costs effectively.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for system configurations runbooks and standard operating procedures to support consistent operations and smooth knowledge transfer.
- Support capacity planning by assessing current utilization trends forecasting future demand and recommending infrastructure scaling strategies that prevent performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in change management processes by assessing risks preparing implementation plans and validating successful deployment of infrastructure changes in day schedules.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex infrastructure issues coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders to restore services within agreed timelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance observability automation security posture and user experience through AI Ops capabilities.
- Align daily work with the company purpose by enabling reliable digital services supporting data driven decisions and contributing to technology solutions that benefit customers and society.
Qualifications
- possess a bachelors degree or equivalent experience in computer science information technology or a related field with around ten to twelve years of infrastructure operations exposure.
- demonstrate strong hands on expertise in AI Ops platforms and observability tools including experience in configuring alerts dashboards event correlation and automated remediation workflows.
- exhibit advanced proficiency in managing Linux operating systems including system configuration shell scripting performance tuning patch management and security controls.
- show solid experience in Oracle database administration including backup and recovery performance optimization security configuration and high availability architectures.
- bring working knowledge of infrastructure automation and configuration management tools that support repeatable deployments and consistent environment management.
- display familiarity with hybrid work environments and collaboration tools enabling effective coordination with distributed teams and stakeholders.
- present experience in following service management practices such as incident problem and change processes aligned with industry frameworks.
- highlight exposure to cloud or virtualized infrastructure environments where AI Ops and Linux platforms are integrated with modern technology stacks.
- illustrate the ability to communicate complex technical topics in a clear and concise manner to technical and non technical partners in a global organization.
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include Oracle Database Administrator Associate and Linux related certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer or equivalent.
