We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Banking Products, Business Analysis & Planning, Product Design, Scrum, Kanban, and Requirements Lifecycle Management. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to define business requirements, improve processes, and deliver innovative banking solutions using Agile methodologies.
In this role, you will:
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
· Lead business analysis and planning activities for banking transformation and digital initiatives.
· Analyze banking products, customer journeys, and business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
· Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
· Partner with Product Owners and development teams to support product design and solution delivery.
· Manage requirements throughout the entire lifecycle, ensuring traceability from inception through implementation.
Work model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client office in Columbus, Georgia. What you need to have to be considered
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Banking or Financial Services.
· Strong knowledge of banking products such as deposits, loans, payments, cards, treasury, or digital banking solutions.
· Proven experience in Business Analysis & Planning and Requirement Lifecycle Management.
· Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
· Experience with Product Design, user story creation, and backlog management.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $ 46,800 to $ 74,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
