About the Role
Cognizant is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager – Process & Systems Transformation to lead large-scale enterprise technology initiatives and business transformation programs. This role requires a seasoned project leader with expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementations, infrastructure technologies, cloud environments, and cross-functional program delivery. The ideal candidate will drive strategic initiatives, oversee project execution, and ensure successful outcomes across multiple business and technology organizations.
In this Role You Will
- Lead enterprise-wide transformation projects from initiation through implementation.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects using Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Partner with executive stakeholders to define business objectives, project scope, funding requirements, and success measures.
- Develop, manage, and maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, risks, and dependencies.
- Lead cross-functional business and technical teams to deliver strategic technology solutions.
- Facilitate Steering Committee meetings and provide executive-level project updates.
- Drive communication, governance, change management, and PMO compliance activities.
- Coordinate technical implementation, process improvement, and organizational change initiatives.
- Manage project resources, vendors, suppliers, and stakeholder relationships.
- Support Agile delivery practices and perform Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Product Manager responsibilities as needed.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
- Capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement across project delivery practices.

What You Need to Have to be Considered
- 8+ years of IT Project Management, Program Management, or Technical Delivery experience.
- Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
- Strong experience with Networking, Firewall, VCAP, Cloud, and Infrastructure technologies.
- Hands-on experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Experience working with technical teams to define and implement enterprise IT solution architectures.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong business case development, financial planning, and cost-benefit analysis skills.
- Experience influencing stakeholders across organizations, business units, and geographic regions.
- Strong facilitation, communication, leadership, and relationship-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Planview.
- Knowledge of project governance and phase-gate methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to travel within the United States as required.

- Experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
- Experience with cloud security solutions and hybrid cloud environments.
- PMP Certification.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
- SAFe Agilist or SAFe Scrum Master Certification.
- ITIL Certification.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $100,890 - $138,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
