Join our dynamic team as a Systems Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting our end-user computing environment. You will leverage your expertise in Nexthink, Macintosh OS X, Service Now, Windows, and Networking to ensure seamless operations and enhance user experience. This position offers a day shift work schedule from our office, providing an opportunity to collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to impactful projects.

Responsibilities :
- Oversee the management and support of end-user computing tools, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for Macintosh OS X laptops, addressing user issues promptly and effectively.
- Utilize Nexthink to monitor and analyze end-user computing environments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate with the IT team to maintain and enhance the Service Now platform, ensuring efficient incident and request management.
- Implement and support Windows operating systems, ensuring compatibility and security across all devices.
- Manage networking configurations and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure seamless communication and data transfer.
- Deliver remote desktop support, resolving technical issues and providing guidance to users to enhance productivity.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure IT systems align with business objectives and contribute to overall company success.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Conduct regular system audits and assessments to identify potential risks and implement preventive measures.
- Engage in continuous learning and development to stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
- Contribute to the improvement of IT processes and workflows, enhancing efficiency and reducing downtime.
- Support the company’s mission by ensuring reliable and secure IT infrastructure, positively impacting employee performance and satisfaction. Job will include occasional movement of IT assets across office floors/ IT store, delivering IT assets within floors to the users etc.,
Qualifications -
- Possess strong technical skills in Nexthink, Macintosh OS X, Service Now, Windows, and Networking, essential for effective system management. - Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, crucial for diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, necessary for collaborating with team members and providing clear guidance to users.
- Show a proactive approach to learning new technologies and adapting to changes in the IT landscape.
- Have a minimum of 6 year and a maximum of 8 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or a related field.
- Display attention to detail and organizational skills, important for maintaining accurate documentation and system configurations.
- Bring a customer-focused mindset, ensuring user satisfaction and contributing to a positive work environment.
Compensation: We are offering between $63,000 – $70,000. Applications will be accepted until June 22, 2026.Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in Canada without requiring employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
