About the role

As an Application Support Engineer, you will make an impact by designing, supporting, and maintaining secure, reliable enterprise applications across critical business systems. You will be a valued member of the technology delivery team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, vendors, development, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure stable platforms and a seamless user experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Own end-to-end application lifecycle management, ensuring stability, availability, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, Release, Problem, and Service Request Management, while maintaining SLA commitments.
  • Plan and execute deployments, releases, and environment management activities to support reliable and low-risk production rollouts.
  • Administer security and access management controls, including user provisioning, role-based access, entitlement reviews, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor application health, performance, and security using observability tools such as ELK, while supporting SRE and automation initiatives to improve reliability.

What you need to have to be considered

  • Strong experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments, with a focus on reliability, availability, and incident response.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including troubleshooting, data validation, query support, and performance-related analysis.
  • Experience managing ITIL processes such as Incident, Change, Release, Problem, and Service Request Management.
  • Knowledge of access management practices, including user provisioning, role-based access controls, entitlement reviews, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience coordinating application releases, deployments, environment management, and production support activities across cross-functional teams.

These will help you stand out

  • Experience with observability, monitoring, or logging tools such as ELK.
  • Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering practices, automation, and continuous service improvement.
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.
  • Strong collaboration skills with business users, vendors, development teams, infrastructure teams, and support organizations.
  • Ability to identify service improvement opportunities, reduce operational risk, and support resilient user experiences.
