About the role

As a FCCM Senior Consultant, you will make an impact by helping financial institutions strengthen their financial crime prevention, regulatory compliance, and risk management capabilities through data-driven solutions and advanced compliance technologies. You will be a valued member of the Banking & Financial Services team and work collaboratively with compliance stakeholders, business users, data architects, technology teams, and operations partners to deliver, enhance, and support enterprise-scale AML and financial crime compliance platforms.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of Financial Crime & Compliance Management (FCCM) solutions, including Oracle OFSAA FCCM and Mantas Surveillance platforms.
  • Design and develop data analytics, reconciliation, and monitoring solutions that improve data quality, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Build and optimize enterprise data integration, validation, and reporting processes supporting AML transaction monitoring, watchlist screening, and compliance investigations.
  • Provide technical leadership for production support, incident resolution, batch processing optimization, and operational stability across compliance platforms.
  • Partner with business, compliance, and technology stakeholders to define requirements, manage regulatory initiatives, and deliver scalable compliance solutions.

What you need to have to be considered

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, enterprise applications, financial services technology, or related disciplines.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with AML, FCCM, Mantas, transaction monitoring, surveillance, or compliance monitoring solutions.
  • Strong experience supporting banking, capital markets, financial services, or regulatory compliance environments.
  • Expertise with Oracle OFSAA FCCM, Mantas Surveillance, AML transaction monitoring, watchlist screening, and alert management processes.
  • Strong experience with Python, PySpark, Pandas, SQL, and PL/SQL for data analytics, data integration, and automation.
  • Experience with enterprise data management, including data modeling, data governance, data reconciliation, migration, and data quality initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, shell scripting, batch processing, and production support operations.
  • Experience working with scheduling and DevOps tools such as Autosys, Tidal, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation frameworks.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, compliance teams, architects, and cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

These will help you stand out

  • Experience supporting large-scale regulatory compliance, financial crime prevention, or risk management transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of banking products and trading systems, including equities, derivatives, futures, options, and swaps.
  • Experience with enterprise ETL platforms, orchestration frameworks, and large-scale data warehouse environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and modern software development practices.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, data governance, security controls, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Experience leading production support organizations and driving operational excellence initiatives.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until July 23, 2026

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000- $155,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
