Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AI Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of security architectures for AI-powered commerce solutions built on Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, and Azure Machine Learning. The role is responsible for establishing end-to-end security controls across AI applications, data pipelines, model lifecycles, and cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on protecting customer data, mitigating AI-specific threats, and ensuring compliance with enterprise and industry security standards.
The successful candidate will drive security governance for LLM-based solutions, implement secure DevSecOps and MLOps practices, conduct threat modeling and risk assessments, and provide technical leadership throughout pre-sales, solutioning, and delivery engagements. This position requires deep expertise in Azure security, AI/ML security, identity and access management, data protection, and enterprise architecture.
Responsibilities :
- Design and implement end-to-end security architecture for AI-powered commerce applications (recommendation engines, conversational/agentic shopping assistants, personalization services) built on Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, and Azure Machine Learning.
- Define security controls for LLM-based systems, including prompt injection defence, output filtering, model access governance, and Azure AI Content Safety integration, tailored to retail/customer-facing use cases.
- Architect identity and access management for AI workloads using Azure Entra ID, managed identities, and RBAC, ensuring least-privilege access across data pipelines, model endpoints, and third-party integrations (payment gateways, CRM, order management).
- Establish data protection and privacy controls for customer PII and transactional data flowing through AI pipelines, aligning with Azure Purview data governance, encryption standards (at-rest/in-transit), and retail data privacy regulations (e.g., APPs, PCI DSS where payment data is involved).
- Conduct threat modelling and security risk assessments for AI/ML components, covering model poisoning, data exfiltration, adversarial inputs, and supply-chain risks in the Azure AI ecosystem.
- Define secure DevSecOps and MLOps practices, embedding security gates into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) for model deployment, versioning, and rollback.
- Collaborate with solution architects, data engineers, and compliance teams to ensure the AI commerce platform meets enterprise security standards, industry certifications, and audit requirements.
- Provide security architecture governance and technical leadership during pre-sales, solutioning, and delivery phases, translating client risk requirements into actionable security design patterns and reference architectures.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) — for AI/ML-specific depth
- CISSP or CISM (enterprise security governance)
- TOGAF (enterprise architecture alignment) — optional but valued in pre-sales contexts
Skills Required :
- 10–14 years in security architecture
- At least 3–5 years focused on AI/ML security or securing cloud-native data platforms, and demonstrated experience securing customer-facing commerce or retail systems at enterprise scale.
