Job Summary

Serve as a functional architect within a global hybrid work model designing integrated analytics and AI solutions across SAP BW PCE SAP Datasphere and SAP Business AI to enhance decision making for travel intermediaries and hotel operations. Responsibilities

  • Design functional architectures that integrate SAP BW PCE with SAP Datasphere DataFlow and Data Modelling to deliver scalable analytics solutions for travel intermediaries and hotel operations that support reliable reporting and forecasting needs
  • Translate business processes of travel intermediaries and hotels into functional requirements that leverage SAP Datasphere Repln Flow and SAP BDC BW Data Product Gen to optimize revenue management inventory visibility and partner performance
  • Develop end to end functional designs for SAP Business AI and SAP Joule AI use cases that enhance customer personalization streamline booking journeys and improve service response quality in day shift hybrid delivery environments
  • Coordinate with data engineers and data scientists to define resilient data models on SAP BDC DataBricks and SAP BDC Product ensuring that complex booking occupancy and rate data are harmonized for advanced analytics and regulatory compliant insights
  • Guide implementation of natural language processing and prompt engineering patterns across Microsoft Copilot Studio and generative AI solutions so that users in commercial finance and operations teams can query travel and hotel data in intuitive language
  • Define and validate functional scenarios for machine learning models built with TensorFlow and Python ensuring that recommendations pricing optimizations and demand predictions are grounded in domain specific travel and hospitality drivers
  • Review interface designs and functional mappings between legacy travel systems hotel property systems and SAP BW PCE so that data quality timeliness and traceability are maintained across reservations payments and loyalty processes
  • Establish functional standards for prompt design governance and responsible use of generative AI by documenting reusable prompt templates evaluation criteria and approval workflows that align with company ethics and data privacy expectations
  • Collaborate with product owners scrum teams and business stakeholders to prioritize backlogs conduct functional walkthroughs and support user acceptance testing ensuring that delivered SAP analytics and AI features meet measurable business value targets
  • Create detailed functional specifications for SAP Datasphere DataFlow transformations and semantic models that enable self service reporting for revenue managers channel managers and hotel operations leaders without exposing technical complexity
  • Oversee issue analysis and root cause identification during production support so that defects related to AI predictions data flows or reporting logic are quickly triaged communicated and resolved with minimal disruption to business users
  • Document functional usage guidelines playbooks and knowledge transfer material that help global teams understand how to use AI enabled insights from SAP BW PCE SAP Datasphere and Microsoft Copilot Studio to make timely decisions and improve guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate with security and compliance teams to ensure that all functional designs for AI and analytics respect data residency consent and anonymization requirements for traveler and guest information across relevant markets
  • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating performance of existing AI driven journeys and analytics solutions and proposing functional enhancements that improve accuracy response speed and usability in the travel and hotel context


Qualifications

  • Combine ten to twelve years of functional experience with analytics and AI platforms including SAP BW PCE SAP Datasphere SAP Business AI and SAP BDC Data Product to architect business centric solutions for travel intermediaries and hotels
  • Apply strong proficiency in Python TensorFlow machine learning and generative AI concepts to work closely with technical teams while keeping a primary focus on functional outcomes business metrics and user adoption
  • Use hands on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio NLP and prompt engineering to shape conversational workflows that let commercial and operations users interact with travel and hotel data through guided dialogs and intelligent suggestions
  • Bring deep domain knowledge in travel intermediaries and hotel operations including booking flows distribution channels partner contracts and property performance metrics to ensure that all functional designs reflect real world business scenarios
  • Demonstrate practical expertise in SAP Datasphere Repln Flow DataFlow and Data Modelling by defining business oriented data products that support revenue management financial planning occupancy optimization and operational reporting
  • Leverage experience with SAP BDC DataBricks SAP BDC Product and SAP BDC BW Data Product Gen to define cross platform functional data strategies that support both advanced analytics experimentation and standardized enterprise reporting
  • Communicate clearly in hybrid global teams by producing structured functional documents running requirement workshops during day shifts and facilitating alignment between business sponsors technical experts and change management stakeholders
