Job Summary

This trainee role is designed for early career professionals with foundational C sharp development skills who are eager to grow in a global technology environment. The position focuses on building reliable software components learning industry practices and supporting digital solutions that enhance customer value. Exposure to insurance and finance domains is beneficial and work is fully remote during day shift hours.


Responsibilities

  • Develop clean and maintainable C sharp code under guidance to support core application features used by internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in debugging and resolving basic software defects to improve system stability and user satisfaction across business functions
  • Participate in code reviews to learn enterprise engineering standards and continuously improve personal coding practices and software quality
  • Contribute to documenting technical components and workflows to ensure transparent knowledge sharing and smooth onboarding for future team members
  • Support unit and integration testing activities using structured test cases to enhance reliability and prevent regressions in critical modules
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and analysts to understand user stories and translate them into simple C sharp implementations that deliver business value
  • Help in refining existing services and utilities by analyzing performance metrics and proposing incremental improvements that optimize resource usage
  • Engage in regular agile ceremonies to provide status updates and understand priorities ensuring that trainee tasks align with project milestones and delivery goals
  • Explore property and casualty insurance scenarios when applicable to better understand policy processing flows and contribute to more relevant software features
  • Learn about life and annuities insurance processes to support data handling and workflow automation that can enhance accuracy for future customer facing solutions
  • Develop familiarity with finance and accounting concepts when involved in related modules so that calculations and reporting logic are implemented correctly
  • Participate actively in remote collaboration using digital tools to ensure effective communication within the distributed team and consistent progress on assigned tasks
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing observations from trainee assignments that can help streamline development and testing practices


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate practical experience in C sharp programming through academic projects internships or professional work with clear understanding of object oriented concepts
  • Show ability to work with Visual Studio or comparable development environments and basic version control practices to manage code in a structured manner
  • Possess eagerness to learn insurance domain fundamentals including policy data claims and customer servicing processes to better align software behavior with industry needs
  • Display interest in finance and accounting principles such as transaction recording reconciliations and reporting to support development tasks tied to financial systems
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem solving skills to break down technical issues and propose logical steps for resolution in collaboration with mentors
  • Maintain clear written and verbal communication to document work explain technical ideas simply and coordinate effectively within a remote team setting
  • Demonstrate adaptability and curiosity to absorb feedback quickly and apply new techniques in C sharp and related tools for continuous skill enhancement
  • Show commitment to ethical conduct and data privacy practices ensuring that solutions respect organizational standards and contribute positively to societal trust


Certifications Required

Microsoft Certified C sharp or equivalent entry level certification in C sharp development is preferred for this trainee role
